Our Board of Directors
Dr. Richard Arning heads the business development of SES Satellite Leasing, the entrepreneurial investment arm based on the Isle of Man of SES, the world largest satellite operator. In that function Richard manages core and new business initiates like the Isle of Man Teleport and Digital Media cluster.
Prior to joining SES in 2014 he largely worked for the Airbus group in technology, software and systems engineering and M&A advisory. Richard co-founded and managed two start-ups in big data and video intelligence. He recently accepted to join the boards of the Manx ICT organisation MICTA and North Invest, a not for profit organisation promoting investment in the North of the UK.
Richard holds a doctorate degree in aerospace engineering from the Technical University RWTH Aachen in Germany.
David Beynon is a Producer and Director with 25 years of experience in motorsport production. Live direction includes the FIA GT1 World Championship with up to 26 track cameras, 20 on-board cameras, effects cameras and helicopter cameras., FIA World Touring Car Championship, North West 200 for BBC NI, British Formula 3, Euroseries F3, Lamborghini Trofeo, FIA GT3 Championship, French GT Championship, German F3 Championship, Italian Superstars Series, Porsche Carrera Cup Asia and many more adding up to over 1000 hours live directing of motorsport.
Peter Duke holds a degree in Business Studies with Marketing Honours from the University of Western England, then Motorcycle Product Manager with Avon Tyres before moving back to the IOM in 1978 as Marketing Manager of the ferry company Manx Line. 1980 founded Duke Marketing Ltd., one of the world’s first special interest video publishers. No 1 market position worldwide for over 30 years with thousands of programmes distributed about all forms of powersport to home video and broadcast clients. Duke currently sells over 1500 programmes as downloads and distributes over 50 via Apple and other third party digital outlets.
In 1985, Duke commissioned the first professional coverage of the TT Races to be distributed internationally and immediately after the races (TV and video).

Stuart Semark established Beckmann Visual Publishing, one of the first home video distribution companies in the UK in 1983, followed by Beckmann International, a worldwide TV distribution company. He subsequently established Beckmann Productions and co-produced major series and one hour specials for Discovery US, PBS, History Channel International, TLC and Animal Planet International.
Stuart then launched Connect Media. One of Connect’s first clients was Online Fishing TV, a ground breaking IPTV channel launched in 2011 and still broadcasting today. Stuart was responsible for acquiring all the channel content, advising on the programme schedule and directing the launch campaign.
From 2014 to 2016 he worked for the Isle of Man Department of Economic Development as a Special Advisor in the Broadcast Media sector.

Stuart Burrage studied TV & Media Production at Kemnal Technical College before his first employment at BBC Television News, and then MTV in 1988.
After establishing London based Airborne TV in 1992, he has since executive produced ambitious and uplifting content with main broadcasters. He has supplied clients such as ITV, Discovery, Channel 5, BBC, Sky, National Geographic, and Smithsonian Channel in the US. Successful shows include The Biggin Hill Airshow, Ferrari Fury, Bushido – Way Of The Warrior, Bra Wars, and the Emmy® nominated Titanic’s Final Mystery.
Mark Rowland is a widely experienced media entrepreneur and TV Executive Producer. Mark is co-founder of Crowdfund.TV a new financing solution for the international TV industry. He is Chair of C21 Media, leading digital publisher providing the international TV and Digital market with news, data and analysis and, CEO of Formatzone, a TV production and distribution business. He is launching ‘Laurence of Suburbia’ with TV design star, Laurence Llewellyn Bowen in the coming months.
Mark’s previous roles include Executive Producer of the hit series, Supernanny USA for ABC and founding Managing Director of Mentorn International which produced and distributed the hit TV show, event and toy brand ‘Robot Wars’ to over 50 countries. Mark began his career as a BBC producer and journalist.
